Butcher Boy Lard is lightly flavored, fine frying fat, prime steam lard manufactured under strict product control standards, non-GMO and is packaged in a 50lb carton. This lard provides exceptional plasticity and blends readily with other ingredients; it still imparts the desirable marbling characteristics so important in quality pie production. Its use results in flaky crusts. Recommended with softeners as the fat for bread, biscuits and other yeast-raised doughs.
